A gear replacer is a specialty tool used in the transmission system of trucks to facilitate the replacement of worn or damaged gears without the need for a complete transmission overhaul. It operates by engaging with the transmission’s gear system, allowing for the insertion or removal of gears.
The kit allows the camshaft gear on ISC, QSC8.3, ISL, and QSL9 engines with the common rail fuel system to be replaced without partially removing the camshaft.
