The rear seal is press-fitted to the engine block and crankshaft, making precise alignment of the inner and outer seal bodies crucial to prevent leakage. The ST-125 is a two-piece tool designed to mount onto the crankshaft and apply force to the inner and outer seal bodies. To use, place the new seal on the inner body of the ST-125, attach the tool to the end of the crankshaft assembly, and turn the forcing screw to press the seal until it bottoms out in the block.
Even the tool’s ball bearings are made in the USA.
